Fiction

I have hundreds of pages of written fiction. Many years ago when I wanted to be an author I wrote and wrote. It was both because of that I loved to write, but it was also healing in a way to write about your questions, failures, perceived pain and being misunderstood, about the mystery of life. I never liked the idea of sitting with a soul carer, a pastor, a priest or a therapist and speak about my innermost feelings. Friends in that case were much better, or a spouse. I have found much of what I wrote from that time and even if much is just to throw away I do sometimes find something that might interest someone to read. In that case I will publish it here on the blog.

And I know: All of it is reasoning, it is very inspired by Søren Kierkegaard and his terminology, it is introspective, it is about dreams, and while some people hate to read such thing others find it meaningful. On me, it depends on the day, sometimes I read things and are stunned by how beautiful a sentence, or paragraph are made up. It gives me joy to read. Maybe someone else is like me.

I like to work with contradictions, like: "When he came home, he was torn, he knew, he had lost, he had found her" (From The Great Lamentation).

Or like: "So they approached each other, they approached the fragile thread that is life, and when they found this thread hanging so weakly in the hand that held it firmly and quietly, they met each other and so at last they found the love they so had sought. Was it chance, or providence, or fate, or was it the will of the Most High? They found the gift that the Creator of perfection had bestowed on his crown: Love, closeness, haven and life" (From The Great Lamentation).

I can assure you, if you are not like that you will not like the fictional writings on this blog. And if you do, you can find them all through the TAG fiction.
